Dominic gains his Yellow belt
On the 27th February 2012 Dominic was awarded his Yellow belt by Sensei John Robertson 4th Dan.
Dominic started his martial arts training in Shotokan Karate and after a gap of 17 years he has now started on the Zen Judo path.

Martin Robertson recieves his 4th Dan ZJF from Shihan Phil watts 6th Dan.

to present Assistant Instructor Martin Robertson with his 4th Dan.
Congratulations to Martin from all the students and Instructors.

The year was rounded of with the now traditional games and party night on the 12th December, which passed of without to many injuries, even with the seniors competitive instincts in full flow. All the clubs assistant black belts decided that the Student of The Year award should be presented to Chief Instructor John Robertson for all the work he has put into the Club and The Zen Judo Family (Well that's what they said).

On Saturday 22nd October 2011 Black belts and Kyu grades from Judo and Jujitsu Clubs
in Thatcham, Petersfield, Horndean, Gosport and Portsmouth attended the 3rd regional IGAS course hosted at Bognor Regis Zen Judo Club.
The high calibre of Instruction at the first two courses was maintained, with sessions Sensei Joe Harbert 6th Dan UKTJ.
On behalf of all the Instructors and attendees I would like to thank everyone for coming and hope to see you again next year.

New Yellow Belt Achieved at Club

On 20th June Samuel Taylor was awarded his yellow belt by Assistant Instructor Sharna Robertson 2nd Dan ZJF

I have received a letter from Bognor Regis Town Council to inform us that the Club has once again been successful in gaining a grant for £100 towards the cost of running a training day later this year. More information will be announced when available.
